Hi, I'm Boaz. I've personally been running the 'Running in Their Memory' project for many years.
Like many of us, during my military service I also lost good friends, who were comrades in arms and friends for life.
Every person who has lost a dear and beloved person knows that the memory exists within us every day of the year, every hour and every second.
Memorial Day is the one day a year when we have the opportunity to hold a collective national remembrance, where the entire nation can remember and commemorate together the heroes and heroines whose deaths gave us life.
This year, I personally experience another layer of this special day.
This year my eldest son will wear a uniform and many of the values he has absorbed are based on the values and norms taught to us by the fallen.
I invite you to join the project in Israel and around the world, to connect body and soul and for one hour to connect to one great national memory.
